Locations & facilities
We arrange the funeral or cremation from our funeral home in Amstelveen and our crematorium in Uithoorn. However, the farewell can take place at any location in the Netherlands or abroad that you wish. A farewell ceremony is possible at a range of locations if you want to make the farewell special.
In the days leading up to the farewell, it is nice to say goodbye in an intimate setting with close friends and family. If this is not possible at your home, it can be done at one of our beautiful funeral centres in Amstelveen or Uithoorn. With your own key to the funeral home, you can go to either location day or night to say goodbye to your loved one in an intimate setting.
Bouwens Funeral Home
In our funeral home in Amstelveen, in addition to our main office, we have several mourning and reception rooms.
Bouwens Crematorium
Our funeral home in Uithoorn is located next to the New General Cemetery and has a crematorium, an auditorium with a capacity of about 120 seats, a mourning room and a reception room. There the interment, mourning visitation, farewell meeting and condolence can take place in the same building.
